Se presenta un estudio sobre los elementos y la información provista en las interfaces de sitios web de parlamentos. Para ello, se indican las características que deben tenerse en cuenta en la creación de estos sitios web tomando en cuenta las recomendaciones de la Unión Interparlamentaria y atendiendo a las características propias de este tipo de instituciones. Así, se destacan algunos aspectos de especial relevancia para estos sitios web relativos a la facilidad de acceso a la web, el contenido informativo que ofrecen y las capacidades de búsqueda que proporcionan. Se ha tomado una muestra de 6 parlamentos (Estados Unidos, Unión Europea, España, Australia, Argentina y Chile) y se han analizado sus páginas de inicio así como las de sus respectivas bibliotecas. Se destacan a modo de recomendaciones los aspectos positivos y se incide en los que deben ser evitados.

A study about elements and information provided in parliamentary websites interfaces is presented. For this, the characteristics that must to be considered in the creation of these sites are indicated, taking into account the recommendations of the Interparliamentary Union and taking care of the own characteristics of this kind of institutions. Thus, some relevant aspects related with the web access facility are highligted, the informative content that offer and the search capacities they provide. A selection of 6 parliaments have been taken (the United States, European Union, Spain, Australia, Argentina and Chile) and homepages as well as its libraries homepages have been analysed. Some recommendations about positives aspects are presented and negative aspect are insisted in order to avoid them.
